BigBamBoo
So I have around 1500-2000 rounds through my STI 9mm HP Edge and the last two matches I have had random failur to extract issues. I can put a loaded round round in the slide and rotate and shake the slide without the round falling out so I question if it is the extractor, but I did "tune" it a bit by adding a little more tension. Other then that, I am at a bit of a loss. Oh...using factory WWB or UMC ammo. Any ideas or input? Thanks
gregshin
I had to cut my ejector at an angle and that solved my issue.
Nugget
I bought a new sti edge in .40 s&w for limited and after 2,000 rds I had a fte. It happened on the third stage of a match. Just cleared the round and continued. When I broke it down I saw the lower corner of the the extractor hook had broken off. It was enough to cause that one malf. Got an aftec and never another issue. BigBamBoo
I was looking at the aftec and it shows two part numbers on Brownells for 9mm/38. Does anyone know which one to get? Again, my edge is a 9mm. Thanks

Kwontanamo
Try an aftec. I had a friend of mine take a look at my edge and he replaced the stock STI parts with aftec. It sings.
