Dustbuster1
whats the difference between a rifled slug and aero rifling on a slug? and does it matter in 3 gun use? thanks
kurtm
It makes no difference at all, neither one spins in the least, use what ever works best in your gun.
Steve RA
If I remember correctly, the "lands and grooves" on a shotgun slug were done that way so it someone shot some in a very tight full choke barrel the "lands" would squish down and no ill effects would occur. phidelt208
thats my understanding as well, I haven't had any luck with slugs unless they were moving at 1400 FPS or faster.
MarkCO
thats my understanding as well, I haven't had any luck with slugs unless they were moving at 1400 FPS or faster. That is likely a technique issue. While they will spin a little, there is not enough to make any difference, so yes, use what works best.
