  1. Resurrecting an old threat but Hey its a question that needs updating. If we trim the front of the dot what plate would we use on the P10F or Shadow 2. Thanks
  2. I am looking for someone to mill a slide on a SP01 for an SRO. Also someone who can nitride code it when the milling is done. I called a couple shops recently and got no replies do you guys know anybody that does the nitride coating and has decent service?
  3. I'm glad you asked this question, I'm having the same issue, I can't find any NON fiber optic sights to give me point of aim point of impact.
  4. I also have the 7 hole EGW case gauge it works great it is definitely tight but my rounds fit flush if they are in spec and I have zero problems.
  5. I’m a big shot of hodgens universal it can be found locally for a very cheap price meters well it is very soft shooting in 147’s
  6. Here are a couple quick thoughts that come to mind after reading your post. It would appear that it’s the base of your case not fitting Case gauge. Make sure your depriming resizing die is almost touching the shell plate I slide a piece of paper underneath mine and that’s how I just the depth in the tool head. Also make sure your Your diet is reaching close to your shell plate meaning that your press is going all the way to the bottom and you’re getting a full stroke. You can test if it’s your case by resizing three cases without anything else and see if they pass your case gauge. Also make sure you blow out the Case gauge with a little bit of air it doesn’t take much to plug them up and give you a false reading.
  7. OK it’s time to replace my magazine springs I currently have 11 coil grams springs. Has anyone replaced there grams with it’s something other than 20 dollar springs grams sells. Just to be clear I’m looking for an 11 coil spring replacement not a stock magazine spring replacement.
  8. Has anyone seen a change in Hogdons Clays, I haven't reloaded 45 ACP in a while and just picked up a pound of it from Cabelas and it has a Yellowish look to it now. The darker powder is Clays from some reloads I made years ago, and the stuff on the right is the new powder.Just to be clear this is Clays, not universal or international. Anyone else seeing this in the clays powder they have bought recently?
  9. All mine work great, and at $20 Ish a 1k I can't pass them up.
  10. Is there anything out there that has the elastic type chest rig set up for quad loads?
  11. Hi Chuck, I found the Mk6 1-6x illumination daylight visible. Are you saying that the VX6 CMR2 isn't up to the same standard? I had my reticle switched out and really like it, but compared to the original plain Red dot, with other VX-6 the horseshoe is NON-existent in any kind of sunlight.
  12. I"'m getting Sub 2.5" and 1.5" groups with the 124 gr TCG bullets, and titegroup, at 75 feet. i'm running them at 1.12" OAL
  13. Seekins - Flat bottom are freaking awesome and Noveske, rails are super nice as well.
  14. I've got a Commander version, that runs like a champ.
  15. 25 yards, You can still see the target, and you can really start to see your groups open or shrink there.
  16. I wanted to try them, hoping that there would be more surface area to engage the land/groves, and maybe be super accurate. I find they also have more room to adjust OAL that RN bullets
  17. I'm using them they seem to feed in everything I used them in. I haven't found any super accurate loads, the best group size is 2" at 75 yards. (SORRY not yards, 75 Feet)
  18. Yes, you do need to worry about it. I have experienced issues with H335 and Wolf 556 primers. I had hang fires and rounds with powder that failed to ignite with that combo. Switching to CCI BR4 (all I could find at the time) fixed the problem. I don't think the Wolf primers are as hot as you think they are. Check out this webpage that shows a comparison between the flash of several different primers. http://www.6mmbr.com/primerpix.html You will see how little flash is generated by the PMC (Wolf) primer compared to other primers. My understanding is that CCI 400s and BR4s are very similar, except the BR4 has as thicker cup. I've HAD this issue First hand, different lots, of both primes (Tula and Wolf) and powder H335. For me about every third round wouldn't completely burn all the powder. Only turn it yellow. I never had the Hang fires, but I only shot about 20 before I was said " to hell with this" Same fix I have had 3k H335 and CCI primers combo in 3 gun matches with zero problems.
  19. Lets get some CFE data, I have some 147 & 124 on the way. I'll get some data up when I can
  20. Is there a fast way to get the rounds out of my Benelli SBE quickly, so I can spend more time loading and less time unloading?
  21. Mines a little on the rough side. I often get case Under the plate kicking it off the shaft the spins it. Some times 9mm case get sideways in the top of the feeding tube and jam up. Other times cases bounce when falling out of the tube and fall off the bar.
  22. Just hold the Shell release button and rack the bolt. If you find something simpler let me know I"m in the same boat. See you at the Robert Libke match hopefully. http://vid95.photobucket.com/albums/l138/pairadiceboyz/Shellextraction_zps4b776809.mp4
