JPG
I'm sure this has been discussed to death, but I can't seen to find a thread that discusses it - 5" or 6" limited gun? Is there a reason, other than personal preference, to go with one or the other?
MikeRush
Here is a great one. Boils down to preference- pros and cons on each side. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=148748 I had a 5", sold it to build a 6". Pretty easy to make a list of pros/cons and weigh your preferences against those attributes. Ultimately you will probably want to try both under a timer. Edited to add: you may find more if you search in the 1911 style pistol forum. Edited June 15, 2014 by MikeRush
DRobson
Just split the difference and go with a 5.5"
Dan Sierpina
It comes down to your eyesight. If you need reading glasses, but not distance glasses, the 6" will likely be the way to go.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am building a 5 1/2" gun to try. I like my 6" gun I built alot but don't like the 5" guns in Edge or Eagle form. My 5 1/2" has a bull barrel and a lightened slide. Going to play with weight on this one as well. I suggest you try both if you can. Bullet weight can change a gun feel a lot also. Thanks, Eric
