TBear
I am thinking of getting a 9mm SS STI, mostly for the wife to shoot. She has trouble loading Glock 19 mags, so my question is: Is there any difference in the ease of loading 10 rounds of 9mm in the Dawson, Tripp, or Wilson mags? If you read between the lines, you may notice that the Tbear doesn't want to have to load Mrs Tbear's magazines for her. MegaCleanCab
I find the Dawson 9mm easy to load. The last round is not super tight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
DWFAN
The wilson was the tightest of those 3 for me.
bountyhunter
There's a speed loader that makes it a snap. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/721154/hks-magazine-speedloader-colt-ruger-and-s-and-w-single-stack-9mm-45-acp-6-to-10-round
rhett45acp
I have 8 Wilson's. They work 100% for me. But, I find that the 9th round wants to move forward in the mag after loading the 10th and final round. This happens when I do the traditional tap to settle the rounds after loading the magazine. Just something to look for. All rounds seem easy to me to load in the Wilson magazine.
Postal Bob
First, buy yourself the Uplula pistol mag loader. http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Uplula-Universal-Pistol-Loader-P437.aspx Works great on all pistol mags. None of the mags are hard to load, but unloading is a chore. On a full mag, it's very hard to remove the first few rounds.
nevadabob
The Uplula works great. Bought mine off of ebay for less than $30 with free shipping.
TBear
Uplula, uplula, uplula. Kind of rolls right off the tongue. Looks like a neat piece of kit, easier on my thumbs too. I will order one soon. Gracias, amigos.
Southpaw
Uplula all the way, they're fantastic. It'll also work with your G19 mags. Single stack mags wobble around in it some, but it still works well. I have all 3 brands of mags and don't think there's much of a difference in loading. Wilson is maybe a bit harder than the Dawson or Tripp.
Rimcrew
The Dawson's are much easier to load than G19 mags...
