JohnRodriguez
on my ar with a Krieger barrel, I use butches bore shine. It doesn't copper foul any more, so I usually takes about 5 patches to be done cleaning it. On my bolt guns, I use butches bore shine to get the fouling out, then I use sweets 762 to get the copper out. if its stubborn, then I'll use a outers foul out to get the copper out. when I use the outers, ill brush the barrel between rod cleanings since powder fouling will sandwich several layers between the copper and barrel. BitchinCamaro
Most of my gun innards have some dumb coating or treatment to keep them from corroding if I don't clean them, which is usually the case. Like some others, just a squirt of light lube every couple of hundred rounds keeps things chipper. I'll take a rag and wipe off barrels or BCGs after a particulatly windy/dusty session. thermobollocks
You can clean them? My 20" Larue gets Butch's Bore Shine about every 600-700 rounds, otherwise I just hit the upper/BCG/chamber with M Pro 7 carbon cleaner and a light film of Froglube.
