Rich219
I'm completely new to USPSA and plan to start shooting USPSA this year and move into 3 gun for next year as well. I ordered a Gen. 4 Glock 35 today and plan to shoot it in the limited division. I know everyone is going to say to shoot it as is first before making changes but what should I modify/change on this gun to make it run in competition? fishsticks
There have been a few threads on this. Seems like the last one was titled ultimate competition glock. My advise, shoot it as is. Practice, practice, practice. Popular mods will be sights, trigger and mag well.
blairmckenzie1
base pads, sights, magwell
prattj50
At minimum I'd get the DK Custom Trigger drop in kit, or if money is tight at least the DK trigger bar and If you are wanting to shoot lead bullets an aftermarket barrel (I prefer Stormlake) Jason Pratt IDPA: A45403 USPSA: A78020
Rich219
I'm going to shoot Limited 10 since I'm in NY. Do they make extended base pads that don't add capacity? Which sights should I add? I know I am going to want to replace those within a week of getting the gun.
LilBunniFuFu
Basepads, either Dawsone EZ offs or Taylor freelance brass bases. Sights, Dawson's, TTI, Warren, Heine, 10-8 are all good. Magwell is not mandatory but helpful. You could always run .40 minor in production as well.
nj mike
Glockmeister sells base pads that add lenght only. http://www.glockmeister.com/Mag-Extension-Adds-No-Capacity/productinfo/GMPLUSZERO/
nj mike
As far as sights dawson I like dawson fiber optic front with adjustable rear sight. if you plan on changing trigger a Vaneck is good .But as other s have said try it stock first good luck with your new glock

Rich219
Does TTI make extended base plates that don't add capacity?

Niceash
I sent my 35 to TTI and had them do the Ready to Go package. Sights, trigger work, grip work, and he sighted it in. Guns runs great. Highly recommend.

dskinsler83
Comp Tac International all the way!!
fishsticks
Why L10 and not 40 minor in production? If you are limited to 10 rounds anyway, production (might) cost less in that you wouldn't spend (quite) as much on the pistol. Just a thought. Rich219
I'm close enough to the PA border that I plan to shoot regular limited as well when heading into a free state.

Stician
Any links to where I can see what equipment is/isn't allowed for limited? Specifically for gun/mag holsters? 3djedi
I agree. If your sucky communist state limits you to 10 might as well do production. Get some fiber optic sights (I prefer dawson) a nice trigger, grip tape or stippling, blade tech or similar holster and you're ready to rock. 3djedi
Also, if it's not to late, go with the glock 34 for production. It will serve you well in 3-gun too.......just a thought. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Rich219
It's too late, the G35 is already en route. Any opinions on the Ghost The One holster?

Rich219
I'm guessing either the Super Ghost or The One are both OK to use in limited division?
