JungleJohn Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 While I have reloaded many years, I am new to this site. BOY, am I glad I found the Brian Enos website! I have been stashing my duckets for a long time, saving up to buy a Dillon XL 650. Not only did I find the machine at a lower price than anyone else out there, I found these forums. I previously owned a 550. Nothing wrong with it,l I just got into financial dire straights and had to sell it, along with most of my gun collection. Well, I am back on my feet, starting to add a few shooters to my meager collection. My most recent purchase being a Colt 6940. I know from previous experience I can burn through several hundred rounds in short order, and the XL 650 seemed to be the logical step up for me. Although some of the comments I have read state I would have been possibly better off with another 550. Only time will tell. I know there is no shortage of people wanting a 650, so if I decide to downgrade (upgrade?) to a 550, I am sure I won't have any problems unloading the 650. Probably not where my comments belong, but I wanted to get my feet wet so I jumped in here. I can see at a glance there is enough reading material to keep me busy for a while, which is what I intend to do now. A big thank you to all of you shooters for your timely, educational comments. A special BIG THANK YOU to Mr. Enos for not only sharing his wisdom, but also for providing a special place for us shooters to gather as well as going the extra distance to help preserve our rights under the 2nd Amendment.
