Timed Fire - Misses vs. NPM?

We ran Indoor Rapid Fire Standards at the monthly match last weekend. This classifier is Timed Fire.

When it came to putting in the hits in EZ, I had to make sure I put the misses in the No Penalty Box.

Does that seem right?

Yeah that &@#$%! thing will deduct 10 points for each "Miss" in a Fixed Time stage and totally screw up the results.

Seems like a leetle mistake in the software.

It's okay if the scoremeister is awake, but the next update of the software should eliminate the "regular" misses data entry field for fixed time stages.

i think the EZ use th no pen box to account for all the shots for the stage, kinda to keep up the RO's when they total the hits on the score sheet.

Right. The issue, though, is the well trained, fast fingers of the EZ wizard. Those NPM's can find there way into the M box.

No good way to check that.

It would be grea if the miss box wasn't there for Timed Fire data entry.

We ran into the same issue recently and I agree, the next update of EZ should not have the availability to enter penalty misses on a Fixed Time stage.
