Will a 9 mm Luger shell plate (Dillon) work with the .38 SC or will I need to use a .223 shell plate?

The #5 or 9mm/38 Super shellplate will work for Super-comp, it is not as good of a fit as the #3 shellplate. I recommend using the #3 shellplate. (The #3 shellplate will also prevent accidental loading of 38 Super brass)

The 223 shellplate will ensure you only get supercomp brass. The other shell plates will allow 38 super brass to cycle also.

38 supercomp and TJ brass will fit in the 223 shell plate, regular 38 super brass won't.

Yes, this is the one for 9mm. (9mm doesn't fit in my #3 shell plate.)

Yes. I use the #5 to load 9 mm, 38SC, 40 S&W and .223. 40 is little tight, .223 little loose however I am willing to put up with less then perfect fit for not having to change the plate.
