I think if there was a top plate to tie the legs together between the press and legs you would make it less twisty.

Really? The base of the press is as solid as any top plate would be so once you have it bolted to the base of the press, it shouldn't be "twisty".

I didn't read all the posts, but Dillon makes super awesome stuff so it can't be the issue. I bet the problem is a wobbly bench.
