MetropolisLake
When I first got my shotgun it kept eating hulls as if it wasn't fully cycling which seems to be common. However that's not a problem anymore and I thought I was over it, but I went skeet shooting this weekend and after a stage, the action locked back properly, but there was an empty shell inside. It would have been a mangled mess if it cycled again, and obviously it wasn't due to it not fully cycling. This was Winchester Super Target, light loads. Is there a light birdshot offering that minimizes this? Edited October 1, 2013 by MetropolisLakeOutfitters
dcloudy777
There's not really an easy answer for this, and no two guns are exactly the same, even if they're the same gun. That being said, I've had my best result with Winchester AAs in my SLP.
T Bacus
My shooting partner runs an SLP. Before he had it worked on it would jam maybe 3 rounds out of a hundred with Walmart Federal Bulk Pac and was 100% with Remington Nitro 27s. After getting it back from C-Rums it has been 100% with the Federals also.
widefat
My SLP Mk1 is happy with anything 3 dram equiv or higher. Anything lower, it doesnt cycle properly. I have not found a light load that will work reliably.

MarkCO
I run Winchester aa 1145 fps. 100% once it was broke in. This is what James and I ran in our SLPs for several seasons.
