Sanding a glock

If you have access to an upright belt sander that's the best way to go. I've done it a few times, not hard and looks/feels really nice if you re-texture lightly with a soldering gun or a wood burning tool.

You can use a mild rasp to get the nubbins close to flush, then a block cut to size you like, and start with 80, go to 150, then 220. Belt sanders are good, but they can take it off quick, and this way is much slower. Also though, you can keep clearing off the plastic from the grit and this will not take all day. Dremels work well to, as do die grinders. Just be sure you feel comfortable with whatever you use so that you can get the results you wish.
