No More Bullets
Go to your search engine an put in .40 S&W IPSC loads list ! There are a few loads for 200gr an N320 . All I shoot are 200s an I have tried alot of different powders. I like Solo ,231 an WSF with 200gr easy to make major an they shoot smooth! N340 works well but cost twice as much as the others. gordonm1
4.3g N320 is just at major with 180's in my 5" SIG.. I get a little more velocity cushion with my 6". Loaded at 1.145 OAL. I don't think Vihtavouri lists loads for 320 and a 200g in .40. I have some to try though and will start at 4 or 3.9 some day unless I read it's going to blow up my gun. Croomrider
I loaded some Extreme 220gr plated with up to 4.1gr of N320 and an OAL of 1.22 in my STI for a PF of 170. I had no pressure signs with Fed primers and it seemed to work fine other than an occasional tumbler. My gun does take a little more powder than most to get a certain velocity though. I don't think you will have a problem working up to a usable load with N320, if you load long! Mike
waktasz
I worked up a Major load with 200 LTC Bear Creeks: 4.0 gns N320 1.185" ~172 PF last I checked at 90 degrees Sounds about right. My load is 3.9gr and makes about 175 pf out of a Glock 24 (6 inch barrel)
perrysho
For It's WORTH, Per the VV web site, www.lapua.com there's no mention of VV N320 loads with 200 Gr. Their chart shows N340, 3N37, N350, 3N38, & N105. Check it out, they make the stuff and apparently don't recomend it for 200Gr. Dig around in their site, a lot of info, print yourself some load charts. I load 165 Gr The BulletWorks & Rainier Plated with N320. Opinion, 200 Gr are used more for 10MM than for .40S&W. Be SAFE, Perry

Tpb10505
I'm a little late to the party, but I had better luck with N340 than 320 with 200grs. With the same powder charge I got more velocity with the 340 out of a Glock 22.
