KentG
For those who reload is anyone using small rifle primers in their 9mm loads and if so any issues? Most pistols function fine with small rifle primers which is my prefered method to keep the supply chain simple since I load rifle for 3 gun as well. DougCarden
If it is factory sprung and the primers are seated below flush you should be ok. Vary from this and you will/may have questionable results..... DougC
jcc7x7
It's all I've been shooting since the primer supply has dried up. They function fine in mine and its tuned pretty light. I'm not having any issues that I don't have with sm pistol primers. But I change my 17lbs main/hammer spring every 6 to 8 months depending on how much dry fire practice I'm doing. buy them in 3's or 6's from Wolfe
Steve RA
I use Tula KVB223 (SRP) in everything that has small primers, as said above - minimizes inventory and keeps it simple. They work very well.
JAFO
The only problem I've been told of is that, if you are loading lead, they cause more leading than small pistol primers with no other positives. I'll caveat that by saying I've never used them.
