EEH
At a match where your ammo will be tested for powder factor. Is it ok to ues fmj,and lead or coated bullets for your match ammo ?? can you give them 4 fmj and 4 lead ?? appendix C2-says to collect ammo from each competitor as randomly as possible. remember sometime you may have to weigh the last one.. JAFO
28. An initial sample of eight rounds of ammunition will be collected from each competitor at a time and place determined by Match Officials. Match Officials may require that a competitor’s ammunition be retested at any time during the match and may collect further samples as necessary. I would guess that if you show up with two different loads, you will need to be chrono'ed against both, so 8 rounds of each would need to be provided. If you have to switch guns due to a breakage during a match and you've already chrono'ed, you have to re-chrono with the other gun, so I'd think the same would go for ammo. That's what I've done in the past. A valid, complete sample of each. If I were running the chrono, I doubt I would accept anything less.
EEH
So what if only one group made power factor..how would you be scored ?? I know it's best not to do this but what IF ??
sperman
Both would have to make the declared power factor. If 1 batch wen't minor, welcome to minor (same for sub-minor.)

It may be best to do this..... I know a few years ago, when the Nats were still in Barry, that some production shooters purposely took along a second load just for the 50 yard standards -- ammo that had been loaded with extra care, and more expensive components.... Almost like taking a Bianchi load to the USPSA Nats.... Both loads needed to be chronoed....
