S197Shelby
I have a question on magazine holder placement for production class. I know that for production the mag holders need to be behind the hip bone. Does that apply to the centerline of the holder? or any part of the holder/magazine? Basically I am asking if my first holder can be canted forward.
Sarge
App E3 seems pretty clear. Everything must be behind the hip bone not just the holster or pouches. Your mags should either be straight up and down or leaning back if anything. Not forward. In Production you generally have 5 pouches on the belt. Keeping them straight up and down takes up a lot less real estate.
blacklab2011
You could cant the first pouch forward but you will need to push it further back on the hip to keep it legal. That will just move the other pouches further back. My short arms would have a hard time reaching for the last mag. Try it out and see if it works for you. It won't for most but if you like it, go for it.
atbarr
I walk up with a mag in my hand, and 5 mags on my belt. More than enough ammo. I think only once (Ohio), I had to use the 5th mag.

True.....AT is very accurate though..... Even when getting 26 procedurals.......on one stage....

Ah, but will you remember to stay within the fault lines?
