What is the best place to pick up SP01 magazines? I know I can order from CZ-USA or CZCUSTOM but do any other vendors sell them? Most only sell the regular CZ 75b mags.

I would think the time wasted in trying to cock manually. Better to just cook off that first double action round down range on the target and either fire a single action make up round. Exception would be virginia count. Of course just practice and dry fire till you can put a quick accurate DA shot in the A zone.

I have a practically new CED 7000 listed on eBay right now.

I was surprised when Rob told me that. But Ive been surprised before. When I bought my springfield 1911 I was told 6 months, got it in 6 weeks. So hopefully I will get it shortly after the new year so I can get some dry fire in before the season starts.

Bought one and selling my CED 7000. Waiting for it to arrive from Europe. Shooting a department range i am almost always shooting with other people so the accelerometer feature was the ticket for me. Soon as I saw that I added to my cart and pulled out the credit card.

Finally secured the funding and pulled the trigger on a CZ75 SP01 Shadow Custom from CZ Custom. Was told maybe end of the month or beginning of January.

I had a 7000 and I really liked it. But I just sprung for a Shotmaxx. Soon as I saw it I had to have it. Selling the 7000 on Ebay now. Also the accelerometer which allows you to use it while on a range with other shooters was key for me. Generally when I shoot on my departments range there are other people and I would get frustrated that I couldnt use my timer. Shotmaxx should be here in a couple days (all the way from Europe).

The SP-01 has no decock feature correct? So when I load and make ready I will have to manually decock each time. Again new to CZ. Mostly shoot glock, MP, sig and 1911.

Thanks. Been competing with a custom S&W MP9 for a year now. I love it but had no idea what I was missing till I tried that CZ today. I think I'll go with the target and get a heavier mainspring. Have to sell a couple guns before I can order it anyways.

So after fingering a CZ75 compact from the custom shop at a gunshow today I have decided to jump on the bandwagon. The trigger.. Holy &!$@. I'm trying to figure out which to get and if there is anything to consider. I've decided to go straight to the custom shop. I'm trying to decide between the custom shadow and the custom shadow target. Is there anything else I need to consider for a CZ USPSA production gun?

What other makers offer mag pouches that put the bullets facing out? I have the Ghost mag pouches but don't like how they attach to the belt. Looking for other options.

I have an M&P bought that was ordered first week of January. My barrel has the marking and appears to be a tighter twist. I can say that the barrel is pretty accurate. No chance to test groupings but off hand at 20 yards everything within 2.5 inches or so.

Anything that can help lower your heart rate is useful. We dont run a lot but nerves alone can raise your heart rate and blood pressure. That being said, a healthy diet will do more to help decrease your heart rate than running alone. I say this to a lot of people you can work out all you want but if you dont eat right its all for nothing.

I shot two matches last weekend with no failures. I might wait on the new extractor. Maybe build up a stripped slide from S&W

Is the apex extractor worth it? I had a double feed at my last local match that I'm pretty sure was extractor related. Had another 1000 trouble free rounds through the gun. I just want to make sure the gun is good to go for Area 8 in August.

I am looking forward to seeing the stages for this match. I am very excited to shoot it.

+1 for DOT torture. I was introduced to this in Tac School and I continue to shoot it around once a month. Its great for exposing weak areas of trigger control.

Does anyone know if this match will be participating in the USPSA Match Ammo Service?

I plan on trying to squad myself with at least one of the top shooters at this weekends match (only my second match). I found that my shooting is fast but I need to work a little on movement and a lot on stage breakdown. I hope to watch and pick their brains a little on both subjects.
