Tom Freeman
On 26-27 April 2013, Pikes Peak Practical Shooters and the Pueblo West Sportsmans Assn will host the Rocky Mountain Regional National Shooting Sports Federation Rimfire Challenge. These matches used to be known as the Ruger Rimfire Challenge. The match will be held over both days, but it only takes one day to complete giving you the choice of days. The targets are all steel. The stages are very new shooter friendly and require no movement. You can shoot a second gun on the second day in a different division. The main match will be 11 stages, 5 rifle and 6 pistol requiring a minimum of 220 rounds to complete. There will also be an optional Precision Rifle Side match. Juniors are free. Mil/LE are $20. I am limited on slots, so get those apps in soon. Keep in mind the past 3 Regional Steel Challenge Matches in Pueblo have filled up. Tom Freeman
Just so everyone knows, the match is back to being the Ruger Rimfire Challenge. This was a last minute change. Other than the name, nothing has changed. And here is a downloadable copy of the rulebook. http://www.ruger.com/micros/rugerRimfire/rules.html

Dwight Stearns
I want to thank you Hoser and your staff for an excellent match. Everything from the course of fire to the administration were professionally done. Four of us traveled from central Iowa and were not disapointed. Congratulations to Wayne Searle and Chris Marsh for your wins in iron sights and optic classes respectively. Good shooting. Dwight
rtr
Hoser really worked his butt off putting this match on and it turned out great. Lots of new faces (meaning people who don't usually shoot, USPSA, Steel Challenge, 3Gun etc.), great weather, great stages and lots of prizes. Hoser also put on a precision .22 side match using Biathlon style falling steel plates. Targets at 55, 90, 125, 140 and 160 yards. The sidematch was a hoot.
