ryan45kim
I’m looking to cut some weight off my AR does anyone know what the weight difference is between a standard A2 stock and the Ace skeleton stock. Any other stock suggestions and weights would be appreciated. Thanks, Ryan
Alaskapopo
I don't care for the ACE stock. It makes the rifle too light in the rear for balance and the rifles I have shot with this stock have a more pronounced spring boing sound. Its annoying. What type of handguard are you running? v1911
Of my 2 AR's, one runs the A2 and the other an Ace Skeleton. The A2 does seem to be quieter when charging the rifle but has a more pronounce Sproing than the Ace when actually firing. There's also a noticeable reduction in buffer slappage. But that might be due to the Wolf XP buffer spring in the Ace. It definitely shifts your balance point forward with the lighter Ace stock. I don't have a problem with it, but your experience may vary.

cas
If you can hear the buffer you need a new comp.

Alaskapopo
If you can hear the buffer you need a new comp. Hear and feel. Its like getting slapped in the face slightly each shot. Pat
