rangerguy
I hope this is in the right place. My girlfriend bought me a Beretta 96 for my birthday. The double action pull is pretty stiff. Does anyone make a reduced trigger spring for the polymer trigger. The d-spring only works with the other trigger. I want to use it for IDPA. Any help will be appreciated. Chills1994
Huh? I have 2 92 FS brig inox's and 2 96 FS brig inox's. I have mixed and matched frames and slides so much... One frame has the d spring. The other frame has a cut down 1911 mainspring. And is quite not 100% in terms of ignition. The other 2 frames are stock from the factory. I shoot the d spring one in matches all the time. The 1911 sprung one is my back up.
splashdown
The D spring you're referring to is the hammer spring or main spring. Shouldn't matter what trigger is in your gun.

You can use the D-spring in any 90 series beretta. and as a side note your trigger is still metal it just has a polymer coating.

bajadudes
The D spring mod will help with the single action pull but not do much for you on the DA pull. There is a lot of discussion on this topic over at the Beretta forums
