Jake Di Vita
Drives me nuts. This brass just gets mixed in and crushes primers like it's their job. I just spent about 3 hours sorting through all of the brass I have.
Steve Anderson
It sucks in 9 for sure. It will work if you have a big lot of nothing else, and get get used to the feeling, but mixed in with other it is terrible. I know some 45 guys who love it. Jake Di Vita
Some of it reloads ok but the other 9 out of 10 times it screws me up.
John Thompson
The S&B brass pops the decapper pin in my Lee die like a mother f**ker.
Ron Ankeny
Then there is Amerc and G.F.L. Who makes this stuff anyway?
EricW
Amerc brass: http://www.a-merc.com The rumor mull as of 10 years ago was tha they started out in the business by making headstampless ammunition for the US to use in covert ops. I guess they only needed it to work once...
SDStack
I'm relatively new to this. Who makes S&B Brass? What makes it so bad? Sorry... Duh!
et45
I would guess S&B(Sellier&Bellot)make their own brass.I am one of the ".45 guys"who like it.
Flexmoney
A lot of local folks like the S&B brass. It is know to have pretty tight primer pockets on the first reloading or so. With the S&B in 9mm, I have found that I can't run with my Federal 200's (SPM). Maybe they are too thick in the walls? I have to run regular Small Pistol primers. That is the only problem that I have heard though...tight primer pockets. Any other problems?
davecutts
I've never had problems with the S&B in .45, now you want to talk about the crap marked F. G. and I can get emotional, maybe a little hot, or even angry, but I've never taken it out on the press, but there are a few divots in the wall behind my trash can.
