johnny1gun
I have a Springfield RO and cant seem to get any other mainspring to work. The only thing that seems to work is the stock spring without the mainspring retaining pin. Ive tried different spring weights with and with out thre retaining pin with no luck. I think its either the sear or the searspring causing my frustration but not sure.Any ideas would be great. Thanks,John
raz-0
Did they ditch the ILS for the RO? because the ILS main spring housing doesn't use normal mainsprings IIRC from my TRP operator. I had to ditch it for a normal one in order to replace hte mainspring.

shooter57
When you switch you need to change all the parts, about 10 dollars for the kit. nice pictue of all the parts that need to be changed. Brownells part # blue 080000549-$8.99, ss 080000550-$12.
