I'm going to try some SC rimfire next month. According to these rules: 5.3.8.1: Centerfire self-loaders – release the slide and pull the trigger (without touching the hammer or de- cocker, if any). 5.3.8.2: Rimfire self-loaders, as above We are supposed to drop the hammer on an empty chamber? Not a problem with my Ruger. Not sure I want to start peening the chamber on my 41 tho...

Yes that will work. I use a .100 width, but that is a personal choice. The .125 is the stock sight width.

I used a .180 for SA with adjustable rear sights. Don't forget to order sights for the SA dovetail. You could check with Dawsons, to be sure...

Be sure the primer seating punch assy. is centered in the shellplate hole, before tightening the two lower primer slide assy. screws ??

and the pins in the ILS are not the same as a standard setup...
