Puma
Mewbee to AR-15 with a DPMS 3 G-1 18" heavy barrel feels that the rifle is a little front heavy and would like to add tungsten buffer to balance it and reduce felt recoil. I would like to know which drop in buffers you would recommend and why ( Affect on reliability, recoil etc. ). Also would you recommend changing the spring ? Any and all information on improving the gun will be appreciated.

Ben-Sons
Would turning down the barrel be a cheaper option?
gerritm
Put a Magpul UBR stock on it. Balances the rifle perfect.
Vespid_Wasp
Changing the buffer is not a good way to get more rearward weight to balance the rifle. As others have mentioned, get a heavier stock, or have the barrel turned down.
