Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. How close does it feel to a full size M&p?
  2. Welcome! Where are you at in AR?
  3. After a few matches and some range time I have found that there is merit to every answer... Practicing minor and competing major increases muzzle flip (obvious point) in turn, slower splits. Practicing minor is still practice, in turn aiding match performance. Conclusion, if I have MANY minor rounds. I'll practice minor as much as I can. Then switch to major for the last session before the match to get back in the major groove. Thanks, Ben Sons
  4. Is it a training tool that is worth the cost?
  5. I don't think the .40-45 would be that different from the 9 in a blue gun. If memory serves me correctly, the slide/barrel is the only thing that is different. Not the frame. Is air soft an option?
  6. Ahhh, the hot brass dance. It's a hoot
  7. Was this at the Old Fort USPSA match? If so, I was on this sqaud and that was the strangest thing I've ever seen a 1911 do. It didn't seem to hinder the shooter but it would've distracted me to no end. lol... In the first match I shot with my current limited gun the two piece guide rod came unscrewed and shot out of the front of the pistol on my last target. Didn't hurt anytihng and the piece of steel I was shooting at fell but it did scare me a little. Seeing pieces of your gun flying downragne is a little wierd. Rusty, sorry I didn't see the reply... Yes it was @ OFGC, guess we were on the same squad!
  8. The idea of shooting 25+ match rounds at the end seems to make sence. The minor rounds are free... You can't beat that (unless I was paid to shoot 'em)

@ 5'8" the short size is ok with bloused boots, med is a little long for unbloused or regular shoes.

Look for brands that size their pants like uncle Sam used to. IE waist S/M/L length S/M/L not 32x34 They don't only make the legs shorter, they make the crotch-waist measurement shorter also. Hope this helps
