  1. I am looking for reduction of recoil and noise.
  2. Which linear comp do you recommend over all for a FM 7" pistol 9MM carbine ? 1 Regarding performance 2 Regarding noise reduction
  3. I would like to get a laser to use on my PCC for USPSA competition. I would like one that can be seen out to 15 yards. Which one would you recommend and what color, green or red ?
  4. Which is the most effective suppressor/silencer for the Glock 17 ? Which suppressor is the best choice considering noise reduction and maintenance?
  5. Willz......yes sir. I eliminate problems. If I don't like something or if it is unreliable I get rid of it. Life is too short. Geissele triggers are reliable. Timney triggers are reliable. Of course I am talking about PCC's. Why waste your time on something that you cannot have confidence in ? Just about anything will work in a rifle caliber AR. All well, I will not be shooting for a couple weeks. I will be away from South Florida on vacation. Good shooting guys ! Willz all being said, I respect you opinion .
  6. I had nothing but issues with my HiperFire in my carbine. It is now sitting in the bottom of a canal. I think that a major problem is the way it sits. Anyway there are many better triggers out there and new ones keep coming out.
  7. MBX is # 1 if you tune it to your load. Depending on your buffer spring you might have to cut 11/2" to 2" coils off for the bolt to lock back. You just have to have patience and play with it. I have tried them all....Blitzkrieg is a distant second.
  8. Simple solution.......Press the butt of the gun into your shoulder with more force. It will eliminate the bounce and subsequently your problem. This is a common problem with lite triggers. The Calvin trigger is the very best trigger available for a PCC !
  9. I just purchased the new 9 MM BMX 14" barrel/compensator. I would like to know the best choices for lite weight uppers that do not have clearing handles. Any and all information will be appreciated.
  10. I thought that I went the cheap route by having purchased my PSA AR-9 when it was on sale. ( It has a forged lower not billet.) However I quickly changed EVERYTHING on the rifle. The only thing lacking is a magwell. Could you send me a picture of bmiller's magwell and possibly his E-mail. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. You and/or bmiller can contact me at Pumagsd@yahoo.com
  11. I would like to put a magwell on my PSA R 9 for competition. Which one do you recommend and why ?
  12. What is the perfect MOA DOT size for a 9MM Carbine with a 16 inch barrel ? I am considering a Vortex Razor.
  13. I would like to purchase a sight adjustment tool for my S & W MP 9 Pro L. I called Maryland Gun Works ( MGW ) but they do not have one yet. Since I am only going to use it once I do not want to spend a lot. There has to be one being sold. Can you please recommend one.
  14. I had a RM and purchased the 'Futuristic Magnetic Holster'. I gave my RM to a newbee shooter. The RM comes in at a far second place. After adjusting the FMH my draw is considerably faster. It is well made, excellent quality material with a lot of thought put in the process. Even though there is limited forward /backwards movement the gun is very secured. I have run, jumped stretched etc and have not been able to cause the gun to fall. Subsequently the gun falling out of the holster is not in my thought process for it just cannot happen. This is by far the best holster that I have seen.
  15. Well, what are your preferences ? ' Calls Shots', sight radius has nothing to do with rear sight notch width/front sight width. However I am building a 40 caliber 6 inch. I already have a 40 caliber STI Eagle in 6 inch. I am building this one from scratch.
  16. I am about to start my next and hopefully best project. I would like recommendations as to what width is best for the rear sight blade ( 110, 125, 140 ) notch/opening and corresponding front sight width. The gun will be utilized for USPSA competition. I have relatively good corrected vision but I am 59 yoa and have tired eyes. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
  17. Is the DP big hand model bigger or smaller than the regular DP Ice ?
  18. Which is the best larger magwell for a 40 caliber STI to be used in USPSA limited class ? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

    Open Glock

Thanks for all the information. It echoes what I thought....... I think that I will get a G 17 and shoot limited minor when I am not shooting my G 35 or STI Eagle.

    Open Glock

To run 9mm in open I would have to reload, unfortunately I don't. Other than major/minor I am interested in advantages, comp effectiveness etc. Which brings up another question- which is the most effective compensator ? From shooting AR's I know that there could be big differences between compensators.

    Open Glock

I am thinking of building an open Glock. I would like to know which caliber and Glock model would be better. I realize that the 9mm would be at a disadvantage for competition for it would be minor ( I was thinking of a G17 ). I currently have a G35 for limited and an STI. Any and all recommendations and information will be greatly appreciated.
  22. I have purchased several complete Fulcrum trigger kits and have always used the lighten striker with the lighten spring without any problem using factory loads. Most shooters that have experienced problems have been those reloading either not using the better primers and/or not sitting the primers right. The complete Fulcrum trigger package is excellent. I would just recommend that you re-polish parts and not tinker with trigger travel adjustment screws. If there is one negative of the entire package it is the adjustment screws being delicate and difficult to work with. However as good as the package is it can be improved by a few gunsmiths that specialize on Glocks. I have used one of these Glocks and there was very little pre-travel and little over-travel and broke at 2 pounds. I personally like some pre-travel for safety reasons but would like to reduce the over-travel. But all being said I am very happy with the Sev Fulcrum package and choose it over any other after market trigger system on the market. You made the right choice.

    Glock strikers

I would like to know what you think of the 100% titanium strikers versus the stainless steel skeletonized strikers as far as weight, performance etc. I presently have the Glockworx S/S skeletonized striker and am very happy with it, I am just wondering if my G 35 trigger action would benefit from changing to a titanium striker. Any and all opinions are appreciated.
  24. I think that the housings are different and you cannot interchange..........check on this !
  25. The Stagg "Super" comp will make you dislike an otherwise excellent rifle..........................Try first a Surefire otherwise a Corvette. The Titan is heavy ( Which you do not want ) and LOUD !
