Long Range Stages and Uncontrollable Variables

Recommended Posts

Heres a different spin on this.

Reading through this got me thinking about uncontrollable variables and adverse conditions. What about a guy who is from the Northwest and is accustomed to shooting in colder temps, rain, and a little fog and goes down to Arizona and shoots in 100* weather? Dying from the heat, sweat in his eyes, that makes it pretty hard to shoot.

He has a huge disadvantage to the guy who lives down there. If everyone wants a match thats even for everyone, this doesn't seem fair. Does it?

Some of what I have read on here is about as silly this.

Part of this game is about overcoming the variables and adversity. :sight:

OK, well it looks like the original question has been beat to death here so I want to play devil's advocate for a minute. If the weather changed so severely for a few squads on a particular stage that over half the shooters timed out, would that change anything? Should that stage then be thrown out? Now I know there are a million what ifs but this seems like a likely scenario so what are your thoughts?
