M & P pro

Ok I was not expecting this. I figured I would replace the front and rear sight on my M & P Pro 9mm. Did the front and that went fine but I was removing the rear sight and as I did a small spring flew out of the slide from under the rear sight. I did find the spring and also the small round tab that I believe sat on top of the spring. It appears that nothing else flew out. I looked at an exploded view of the gun and it appears there are no other parts I could have lost but if anyone is familiar with this gun and can confirm all this I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Thats the spring and cap for your Sear disconector.

Just those 3 parts under the sight.

I think your are all good!

What would be the need to have to remove the rear sight to get to the spring and cap for the Sear disconector. I may have to use a little locktite on the allen screw to hold it in.

Likely you will not. But if you had disconnecter trouble or wanted to put in Apex's disconnecter for a better trigger pull you would have to take it off. You will just have to heat it up to release the red. A solder gun is a common method for heating things up like set screws.
