California Bill Would Create Ammo Database

SACRAMENTO, CA—By a vote of 22 to 16, the California Senate approved a proposal last week to require sellers of ammunition to enter personal information and the thumbprint of all those who purchase ammo in the state into a database. The bill now goes to the state Assembly for a committee assignment.

So they want your info every time you buy ammo? Okay. Well lets get everyone to go to the local store and buy a box of 50 rounds of 22 LR. Once the transaction is done, do it again, and again, and again. If we can get around 25,000 people to do this and each buy 20 boxes, the DOJ would be flooded with half a million entries in one day. That will keep them busy for the next decade.

I wouldn't. They are just leading the way.

On the other hand there can be a constitutional case waiting to be made here.
