chbrow10
Has anyone given Hodgdon CFE 223 a try yet? It seems to be a few hundred feet per second faster than H355 (what I currently use) for the same weight bullet, if you believe the Hodgdon data. It is advertized to contain an agent that reduces copper fouling. Interesting…
dauntedfuture
There are a few threads some other places that i found earlier. Apparently RS TAC and WIN powders have some sort or something thats supposed to reduce copper build up thats been in their powders for some time. Burn rates look good as far as i can tell. Starting charges look like good velocity in .223 with heavy bullets. Ill play with some later.
rr4406pak
Looking forward to hearing results from this powder. Looks interesting...
MustangGreg66
I just ran accross something about this poweder the other day. Sounds interesting. If it gets higher velocities than H335 then I might try some at some point too... I have a ton of H335 though, I don't see myself switching over right away. LPatterson
I have been thinking about trying a different powder but I have 8# of H335 to use up first so I will watch this topic.
chbrow10
I only have 1 # of H335 left, so when that gets used up, I might try this.
