Graham Smith
Google is constantly doing fun things with animated logos and hidden Easter eggs. Todays (4 Nov 2011) fun thing happens when you type in the words, "do a barrel roll"

Billski
Neither of my computers will do it. So, did it really do a barrel roll or was it something else? In a barrel roll, the horizon drops down in your view and the roll axis appears to be in the direction of the roll. It is a positive g maneuver throughout. Or is it an aileron roll, where the horizon drops down a bit, the roll axis appears to be centered and ends up below the horizon - If you don't do the pull first you end seriously nose down. Or did they just roll the screen about a point? Sorry, I fly and know the difference...
Graham Smith
I'm pretty sure it's not a true barrel roll, but it's still rather cool. Particularly to think that Google actually pays people to come up with this stuff.

Flexmoney
Sorry, I fly and know the difference... Since it is on your computer screen..it is 1G. Duh. So, if you think you are seeing an aileron roll...you may have vertigo.
