Just got a chance to chrono my new loads. Temperature was 73, but I left the rounds in the sun on a vehicle dash for a couple hours prior to chrono. I'd say temperature equivalent to 85. Solo 1000 was a recent lot purchased from Powder Valley about two months ago.

M&P 9Pro (5" bbl.)

135 gr. Bayou Bullet

3.8 gr. Solo 1000

WSP primer

Mixed brass

OAL 1.135

Crimp .378

Avg. 973 FPS 10' from chrono (Alpha Chrony)

PF 131.3

They shot so soft, I didn't think I was making PF!

That sounds about right. I tested some I made up about a month ago with the 3.8 and was around 960fps. That was on about a 90-95 degree day.

Guys I just like those 135gr Bayou's a lot, I'm getting 962 with 4.0gr of WST and they shoot softer than 147gr with N320 at the same pf, and the accuracy out of my CZ Shadow is awesome 5 shots at 15 yards one 1/2" hole.

I'm not an accurate shot, but I tried this load at 7 yards on a human silhouette target to check the bullet's accuracy. First shot at the "5" on the head was dead center on it. Great bullet, and thank you Daniel Cook for such a nice trigger on my Pro!

As Paul Harvey says, the rest of the story, I used a rest.
