GForceLizard
Start with 4.8gr of Power Pistol. Hit Hodgdon's site for WST load data.

T_Linville
you probably won't find any data for WST in 9mm on hogdons' site. do a search here and you will find some data
noylj
I would expect that your minor load will not allow Power Pistol to perform at its best. 9x19 Bullet Weight Powder Weight Velocity Note Power Factor COL Hdy L-RN 124 Power Pistol 4.3 900 Start 112 1.090 SAECO 377 123 Power Pistol 5.0 1041 Accurate 128 1.080 Lee 356-125-2R 126 Power Pistol 5.0 1029 130 1.160 Hdy L-RN 124 Power Pistol 5.7 1100 Max 136 1.090 L-RN 124 WST 3.6 1036 128 1.150 L-RN, L-FP 125 WST 4.0 Accurate 0 Zero L-RN 124 WST 4.7 1103 137 1.

DavidMarlow
I'm seeing some much lower charges for Power Pistol than Alliant has listed on their website. I'm trying to develop a minor load with power pistol using 124 gr Montana Gold JHP and Win SP primers. I tried three charges, 6 gr, 6.2 gr, and 6.4 gr, all having an OAL of 1.130" and all three, while showing pretty good accuracy by hitting about point of aim at 45 yds, seemed a bit stout compared to most standard pressure loads I've fired. Alliant lists 6.4 gr and an OAL of 1.125" for 124 gr JHP. Do these charges seem a bit much for those of you who have used them?
noylj
The loads I listed were for lead. Below is my compilation of jacketed loads. Have you considered WSF or Zip. Dave C
Trying different powders for cast bullets instead of tightgroup bought somw WST and power pistol. Hoping to get some info and try power pistl first. 9mm 125 grain cast over 4.3 grains of WST will get you about 1060 FPS. Shoots pretty good too!
