fastshooter03
Read a couple pages of this. Didn't see any comments on not having enough area and/or racks around the stage to safely put preloaded shotguns. How bout dump barrels that aren't big enough for long shotguns or ground boxes not big enough for open pistols??? How bout having to dump and grab long guns out of the same barrel??? Maybe there should be a list for stage designers of what not to do...... Duh...just read the 6 pages of this thread. Nick

Nick All good suggestions there....I hate dumping my rifle into a barrel with my shotgun, and at one of the local matches I go to, a small trashcan is used for the dump "box" for pistols and I like that better than the flat square boxes that have been at some matches. mr50mag
As a match director: #1. People who bitch, complain and bash your match but who did not actually attend or shoot the match. Just heard about it and decide to go on-line and complain... Classifier stages that turn 3 gun into Mother May I?
Llandaff
Weather/range condition. This video is from latest Sunday shotgun training, but we had a match once with similar range condition. One of the stages was entirely covered in ankle-deep liquid mud. All the stage - targets, 'running area', everything. Range officer spent all day there - reminds about trenches of WW1.
