Right on Bro... the only weapons we carry are the ones on our person incase the %$@# hits the fan and we go down. Even though I will be home in about 2 months, please shoot me a PM and I can get your deployment address next time you head out... will happily send you some care packages :)

SGT Works.... thanks for sharing the video, and thank you for your service. I really appreciate what you do... although I've never been to Afghanistan, we fly communication support missions over Iraq routinely, assisting convoys moving throughout that country. "Route Clearance" guys are among our customers. Not sure if you're on the road at the moment but if you are and need something, let me know as it's free to ship from APO to APO :)

V/R,

Chris

Awesome, it's the folks that keep me from getting blown up and the folks that let me talk when nothing else works. I was a land owner my first tour to Iraq and escorted convoys moving stuff out of Iraq my second tour. I sincerely appreciate both of you guys.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just trying to keep this thread alive until October 3rd. Check out the full Documentary on National Geographic at 7PM

Roger... I need to see if we get that channel out here as I don't watch much tv on the road... If we don't get Nat-Geo, will get the wife to record it for me and will watch when I get back home! Looking forward to checking it out!

V/R,

Chris

well what did everybody think?

An excellent piece, about men willing to risk their lives, on a daily basis, for all of mankind.

It looks like you have some good equipment, and your fellow soldiers a nop notch bunch! I thank each and every one of you for the job you do.

I recorded the story so that I can share it with others.

Be safe and may the next three months pass quickly for you!

I saw the show and was blown away (pun intended). Sincerely, it was very cool and intense.

You guys have some seriously big balls. And the equipment was like something out of a Transformers movie -- HEAVY Duty!

Good on y'all, and thank you for your service!

The link didn't take me to a specific video. Can someone point me in the right direction?

They changed it, but the whole thing is one You tube now. Just type bomb hunters Afghanistan... maybe this like will work ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvDahFg6pBA
