J-Rob
What spring weight do you guys suggest for a Glock 19 for competition shooting ( IDPA/3GUN, etc.)?
sirveyr
I just run the stock spring with my 135PF handloads. It runs fine.
Outsydlooknin75
I'm currently running a 11 pound wolf with some 127pf ammo and no problems. I've also run a 14 pound wolf and the factory with no probs with that same ammo. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk
Sarge
As mentioned the beauty of Glocks is that they seem to run just fine stock. BUT in my G34 I dropped to a 13 lb spring and it softened things up quite a bit.

wurm
I run stock in my Glock 19 as well. I don't use it for competition all that often but I do break it out every now and then, especially for low light matches. It is the only Glock I have with night sights on it. Just as an FYI My 147gr load made 137 power factor at Area 5 this past weekend and it cycles the G19 with no problems.
bubbagum
13# ISMI spring works perfectly for me. If shooting major loads a 15# might work better but for normal 9mm loads 13# works great.
Bob DuBois
I have a 13lb spring in my 34 and 17, seem to run fine with less flip than stock.
Micah
Like stated above, I would give a 13# a try. To check the reliability when not on the range, do this: Make sure the gun is unloaded. MAKE SURE THE GUN IS UNLOADED!!! Rack the slide, and pointing it straight up at the sky, slowly release the slide. If the action closes, then you are good to go. If it comes close, but doesn't fully close, you need to go a little heavier.
