Hi guys, newby question on USPSA revo division. I have a 7 shot 686 with moon clips, what division can I shoot this in ??

I don't know if the 686+ comes from the factory ready for moonclips. Is modifying a cylinder to accept moonclips allowed for production division?

sure? International ruling for IPSC Revo Standard is, that it´s allowed to use 7 or even 8-shot Revos. You can load 7 or 8 but you have to reload after six shots fired. If you shoot more before reloading, you´ll get a procedural for each shot.

This rules information is incorrect, probably pre-2008 rule book? PF numbers are incorrect, and the per shot procedural for more than 6 no longer is in Appendix D6. What is the penalty for using the 7th or 8th round in the >6 revolvers?

I believe those are IPSC Revo Division rules, as opposed to USPSA Revo Division rules.

Shoot it in any ICORE match. With moon clips you would be in Limited.
