Aircooled6racer Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 Hello: You can bead blast after hard chrome if you turn the air pressure down and use glass beads. It makes a very nice looking finish. You can also bead blast before you have it hard chromed also. I have bead blasted parts after they were hard chromed to give them a nicer finish. knuckles Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 You should be able to hard blast it after hardchroming it, after all chrome is just a coating on the weapon so you should have no problems, there is no other process that i am aware of. i have been experimenting at work with using walnut shells as itt dosn't damage the metal but the air pressure is the key to it all.
