Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have the SPO1 Shadow, bought it this year so i am assuming it is the 2011 model, I went with the 5 inch barrel had the trigger lightened and the competition hammer installed however I left the sights factory installed as I have no problem with the sights at all, it cost me a bit of money to have it like it is but when it comes to IPSC shooting I wouldn't want it any other way and its shooting nicely.
  2. From the time your hand touches the gun your hand-grip shouldn't change, if you are changing your hand-grip thru the shoot then your accuracy will be affected, so for me from start to finish my grip stays the same, that's why I can shoot accurately thru the stage.
  3. Just goes to show that nothing can hold you back when your heart is set on doing this sport.
  4. DQ's will happen in some stage of your shooting career, that was bit of a shitter that you loaded your rounds wrong but all you have to do is learn from it and move on, at least you didn't get DQ'd for unsafe handling of a firearm as it was only the wrong type of round for the type of target.
  5. I always watch other shooters especially the more experienced ones, you get to learn there techniques and it gives you a chance to apply it to your shooting. So by all means watch and apply it to yourself
  6. You should be able to hard blast it after hardchroming it, after all chrome is just a coating on the weapon so you should have no problems, there is no other process that i am aware of. i have been experimenting at work with using walnut shells as itt dosn't damage the metal but the air pressure is the key to it all.
  7. Thanks guys, i wouldn't have to worry about a trigger spring would i, if i just replace the hammer spring that should do the job , also i know some of the parts off a taurus are interchangeable with the berratta, so could hammer springs for a taurus do the same job on the barretta?
  8. Thanks for that, who would be a good dealer to buy the Wolff reduced hammer spring off and would they ship to New Zealand do you no?
  9. Can someone explain to me how i go about lightning the trigger on the berretta 92fs, i am confident about doing it but just not sure on how to do it?
  10. It really comes down to how much money you want to spend, i bought a lee turret press as it was a reasonable price as buying a dillon would be good but i reload on a budget, but don't get me wrong i don't buy cheap shit as i want to shoot for a long time to come but there are limits on how much you can spend and as i live in New Zealand we can't get alot of stuff for shooting at a reasonable price as alot of stuff for reloading is all imported in to NZ so when you buy products you have to take in the fact that you are paying more $$
  11. I use a lyman 1200 and it takes about 2-4hrs depending on how clean you want your brass and i use cob media, i would rather do them for 4hrs that way i know they are really clean, i guess its a piece of mind thing for me as the cleaner the brass the less problems you will have when reloading, some may say its over the top but i would rather be safe then sorry.
  12. I normally relax my right hand as the left hand seems to do most of the securing, don't lean to forward to much and legs apart a wee bit and side by side and i don't like to lock my elbows as you lose the spring effect when the gun fires and then have a heap of fun putting holes in the target.
