JediTodd
Can anyone suggest a set of brass punches for use on guns? I need one for my SLP and figured I'd buy a set just to have. Looking for a nice balance of quality and price. Thanks, Todd

Pat Miles
You might call around to local hardware and tool stores in your area. Pat
fastarget
if light duty work is all you want them for, check at Harbor freight if you have one......
bwit
Harbor Freight has only 3/4" dia brass punches and up, no small stuff you can screw up and return under warranty. Dillon has a nice set and Cheaper than dirt had some. Also saw a $8? set on Ebay.

jaredr
+1 for brownells. No disrespect but harbor freight's stuff is always crap, and I have to admit that I've been let down several times by local big box stores (much of their hand tools were lower quality imports - bought a torx key set and the keys deformed under load when I was trying to unscrew a JP VTAC handguard). i would definitely buy a punch set from brownells, it's a quality set that will last you forever. whatever you save buying a lower quality set will be money lost when your punch turns out to be a cast product that shatters under impact and you end up leaving a nice ding in your SLP as the hammer continues on... JerryShoots
Brownells has a great reputation for solid tool construction. Also great design. Their tools feel "right" in your hand. They also stand behind them.

Hamma Slamma
I have a kit for sale. Lymans, hammer and punches. Brand new never used. I bought it online but it came late so I had to run out and buy a set for an immediate repair. Let me know if interested.
