dpeters8445
I have been practicing for the PSA with my open gun. At the PSA you can only load 10 per mag so I have been practicing my reloads going all the way back. Here is the drill: One USPSA target at 7 yards. All shots must be A's. Start with gun hot and on target. Upon start signal: 1 A Reload 1 A Reload 1 A Reload 1 A Reload 1 A My best time shooting all A's is 4.50, but I average about 5.0. Anyone else ever shoot this drill. If so, lets here some times.
tightloop
I am not even going to try, 4 reloads in 4.5 with 5 shots, that is smokin'. What is your classification...
Flexmoney
Classification??? He shots "heads-up". (sorry, couldn't resist) It is pretty much heads up at the PSA Steel match, however.
tightloop
Flex Please consult your dictionary, the proper word is shoots, not shots. The first one is the verb, the second is the noun. Sorry, I couldn't resist...
Ron Ankeny
The guy is one hot rock reloading animal. By the time I got to my fourth magazine I would be all thumbs. Definately a Grand Master in the reload department.

Singlestack
I'm D-class when it comes to typing. Flex, Start slow. Learn to call your keystrokes. If you are seeing your fingers lift and return, you are looking in the wrong place.
pangris
Good drill. I'm getting "real" mag pouches in today, Safariland competition high speed low drag stuff. I will be practicing a lot more. Good drill! I'll probably modify it a little bit, but idea is sound! For the record, I can shoot 6 plates in about the time it takes you to do that drill. If I'm on target when the gun goes off Slow but sure, said the "U" shooter
