I went the DIY-trigger job route - lubed the trigger bar end and simply worked the trigger for a few hours over 2 nights while watching TV. Went from stock grittyish to nice and smooth in that time. So with an m&p trigger that means ALOT can be done! My new pro 40 5" has the best trigger I have yet to see or "not see" on an m&p yet. I would advice doing a search for "sub 2lb trigger". its a thread that cha-lee wrote. Thats what I did to mine and combined with an apex comp trigger kit IMO you cant beat that trigger setup for an M&P! The only take up you feel in my gun is actually the safety deactivating and there is only a hint of post travel I left in intentionally for reliability reasons.
