A couple years ago, John B got us a tour of the Dillon factory (at least parts we were allowed in). They were building adding Mini guns to the Yukons.

I was amazed how many pallets of 30 cal ammo they had for testing. It was everywhere. besides on the home-depot type shelves, they had one area of pallets (I'm just guessing from memory) stacked 4 or 5 high, 6 wide, 6+ deep - that was a lot of brass!

3K per minute. But Dillon has an "upgrade" to go 4K per minute. I figured it up awhile back, and at the ammo price then it worked out to $66 dollars per second.

At the factory - they said they could get them up to 6K rounds a minute.. but they found it didn't do enough to justify. The bullets were just going through the same holes

So there's some sort of governor on them, that can be adjusted.

Now that is just freaking awesome, the sound of that gun sort of sounds like a cash register when you listen carefully.

so brass picking is by LARGE snow shovel??? i still like the dillon conversion that pops out of the yukon??? they saythe windshield wipers are good for sweeping the brass of the glass so the driver can see....an i thought paying 8 bucks per mag to shoot a MAC-10 back in the day was absurd hehehe
