Rufus The Bum
I haven't had much luck finding quality 9mm 10rd magazines. Who out there makes a good 9mm 10rd mag? I really hate fiddlin with magazines and would rather not try jury-rig a 38 Super mag to work. What do the Top-Dawg single stackers use?
Bill H
I don't think there is such an animal. I use Super mags when I need ten rounds. They are not 100% in my gun though. Bill
Alan550
To quote the country boy when he saw his first giraffe: "Ain't no sich animal!" One of the guys in our club has been in search of some 10-rd 9mm mags and they just aren't made.........seems there's market, but nobody makes 'em yet. Bill H
I use Shooting Star mags. I think they would be 100% if the rounds were loaded longer. Let me know what Springfield says. I am very interested. Bill
Bill H
Just called Springfield and the mags are only 9 round. They are stainless and the price is $32ea. Bill
slughammer
The Springfield front ramp design is as mentioned a 9 round magazine. Metal-Form is the manufacturer and you can buy directly from them if you want them. Metalform had their pricing setup for a price break at 10 magazines, it has since moved to a higher number. Best way to get the price break now may be to get in on a group purchase over on 1911forum in the magazines area. I'm still on my winter break, but one of my projects is to cut the bottom off of a few mags and weld a 1 round extension on them. Not legal for IDPA, (I don't shoot IDPA anyhow) but will be just fine for the PSA shootout in April.
