  1. Thanks Doug!!! Its not going to happen.
  2. Im not loading any ammo cause Im not going.
  3. meangreen75 i would bet that they will pass it at inspection.send me your email address and i will send you something. If they dont I will have a few glocks with me and you can shoot one of those.
  4. I didnt mean to start a shit storm but I like the rest of you want the same answer. Meangreen75, according to the email chain I have you are good to go, but I am not the NRA. I will bring a copy of it when i go to check my gun in if i decide to shoot production. I put the same set of sights on my gun and now shoots where it want it to.
  5. ok let me get this straight. If there is a glock or an XD with after market sights that do not match the factory sights exactly then those guns would be disqualified? I have one more thing for ya Tom. I have an email chain between a shooter and the assistant coordinator saying it does not matter what kind of sight it is(fixed or adjustable) as long as it fits in the factory dove tail. now what?
  6. GM IPROD I agree with you that all the classes at Bianchi will be an equipment race and I think that is what its supposed to be. We as competitors want our guns to shoot the best that they can no matter what class we shoot in. The word "cheating" is kind of a strong word in the shooting sports and I dont think any of us that invest so much time and money in these games would intentionally cheat. We as shooters are always trying to figure out how to make our guns shoot better and make them easier to shoot by modifying them. Take this for an example, I took a rear sight from a M&P and welded it up, stuck it in the milling machine and recut it. Its a factory sight but its a little higher and the sight notch is wider. Its a factory sight,am I still good? I personally would think so. Am I cheating? I wouldnt think so and and if it was considered cheating, that would not be my intention. When the NRA said we could use aftermarket barrels in a production gun I think that opened up the doors to go hog wild on them. You, me and everyone else may look at the rules and interpret them in different ways and thats why the rule books get so thick.
  7. Im going to play devils advocate and say that even fixed blade sights are adjustable ( for windage ). For the people shooting a M&P, all the ones I have tried shoot low, If its not legal for an ajustable sight I would put the dawson adjustable sight in it and set my sights and weld it so it cant move. If I end up shooting production that is what I will do. Just some thoughts.
  8. Bruce won the cup TGO won metallic Julie won the ladies
  9. Hi Jay, I have just bought one of these barrels to try in my AP... it is in .38 Super. Any suggestions with loads ?? With my current Nowlin .38 Super I am using W231 and Sierra 115JHP's for match and W231 with 122 cast lead bullets. Accuracy for both is less than half an X-ring at 50 yards ... for the Kart barrel that load will be fine with the bullet going 1100-1150 fps, for the KKM barrel you need to push the bullet around 1200 fps. The 122 grain bullets wont shoot out of the 1-32 twist, its meant for 115 grain bullets only. It will shoot ball ammo just as good as hollow points.
  10. I have not had a Kart barrel not shoot. The KKM 1 in 32 twist is a little picky with the load.
  11. I have heard Bruces shroud is just about ready. I looks less bulky than the one pictured so you can get your hands around it.
  12. part of my new job at tier 1 group is building custom guns. Jay

  14. I just fine tuned the machine for my loads and pressed the on button and watched 500 rounds get made in about 15-20 minutes and my arm dosent hurt, life is good
  15. Just bought 2 automatic rdp reloaders and was wondering If there are any spare parts out there just in case
  16. Just got 2 gsi bullet feeders for my 1050s ,they work like champ.Someone needs to come up with a primer feeder.
  17. Missed my plane on tuesday because I was in the hospital again in sydney, got home on wednesday and went right to the hospital in north carolina and spent another 3 days there with pneumonia both lungs partially collapsed,no wonder I felt like crap.Feeling better now though.
  18. The NRA needs someone qualified to check trigger pulls at check in and at every stage. It takes about 2 minutes to change a spring to make it lighter. I have a sear spring I use for the mover that makes my trigger heavier; a pound and a quarter. They also need to come up with some guidelines for checking grip safeties. At the Cardinal Cup this year they had a referee from NRA checking grip safeties. My trigger broke at 10 oz. How much pressure are they going to put on the trigger without the grip safety depressed? He put about 9 pounds on mine till the trigger bow bent. He was also dropping slides from slide lock and just letting them slam shut. Other than that, the match was great. Jay
  19. Kevin Do you think the nra wants this match anyway? Rudy doesn't do a thing for this match advertisement wise. Those posters we got in our bags should have been sent to every range affiliated with the nra. I'm sure we could get somebody else to pick up this match I think the guy from the us shooting academy was interested. as for the trigger pull, I might get a hernia pulling a 3.5 pound trigger Jay (aka skirt)
