kamikaze1a
Though I like my collapsible stock, I think it is negatively impacting my groups. This RRA stock has too much play...do all collapsible have that much movement when extended? Or any suggestions for a good, reasonable priced fixed stock? Kind of like the look of the Ace skeletonized stock...or should I reinstall the A2 stock? Edited August 24, 2010 by kamikaze1a

JeffWard
My Magpul CTR locks up like a vice... and the rubber but-pad is nice for the vicious .223 recoil. Jeff
calishootr
the last 'normal' 6 position stock i got ahold of(basic model, price around 60 bucks) i could literally with light pressure twist it from side to side about 10 degrees, dont know aboutthe newer magpul stuff as to its rigidity when locked into place... Jaxshooter
I have an ACE skeleton stock on my JP CTR-02. It is just like using an A-2 stock without all the weight.

I wish it was Black... The CTR looks like the best of both worlds. Collapsible and no wobble...

Cold Absolute Zero
I am a big fan of the Magpul CTR and MOE stocks. Both exponentially better than the OEM stock offerings from most major manufacturers. Changing out the stock and adding an Ambi Safety are the first things I do to all of my ARs. The SOPMOD stock from LMT is also very secure and stout, though I prefer the lighter, smoother, and streamlined Magpul offerings. CAZ

gotigers
I have a CTR. Works great. No or very little play.
Pro2AInPA
Or if you want a ridiculously solid collapsable stock, try a Magpul UBR.
