Larry Cohen, aka The Durango Kid, has passed away

I regret to inform all the Larry Cohen has crossed over to the other side. Larry was a past President of the Southwest Pistol League, worked to promote the Steel Challenge in the 1980s, was a founding member of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS #8), and great promoter of cowboy action shooting from its inception.Recently he enjoyed modern 3 gun shooting, in Heavy Metal Scoped. My most sincere condolences to his wife, daughter and friends.

I got a chance to shoot with Larry last year at the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3 Gun. He was in great shape and was as nice as could be as I peppered him with question after question about all kinds of shooting. A great shooter and a man I was proud to call my friend. Rest in peace Larry-you will be remembered.

I was fortunate enough to be squadded with him in 2 major 3 gun matches. He was a great guy. He will be missed.
