Jane
Waiters / waitresses who collect the check, and if I pay with cash ask "do you want any change back?" Especially if I'm paying with a $20 for an $11 check. Bring me the change and I'll leave the tip that I'm gonna leave.
spanky
That is one of the few things that really infuriates me at restaurants and, quite typically, significantly affects the tip.
davidwiz
"Would you like some change"? 5 most irritating words in the English language.
Corey
If im paying you for the bill and change too, ill say " go ahead and keep it all". I dont say that I want my damn change! G/f and i went out to dinner a couple months ago with some friends and the change turned out to be actual change, like $0.37 or something. The waiter decided not to bring it back to the table with the other couple's receipts. His total tip for the night: $0.37.

SDM
I always try to pay with as close as possible to the exact amount. If they ask that question - "No you can keep it".
