cyburg
Ok, maybe I should ask what loads is everyone shooting for steel changes. I also forgot to mention I am shooting a 38 super comp.
ong45
You can probably drop that load up to a couple of grains , any more than that and it might not burn clean.Spring it down some and see what happens.
Jaxshooter
One of my friends usually shoots a 125 gr JHP for USPSA and just substitutes a 95 gr jacketed bullet for SC and leaves the powder charge the same. The other one shoots a 124 FMJ for USPSA and subs a 115gr JHP for SC with the same powder charge. Both loads shoot flat and soft.

RH45
Try 4 grains of straight Clays, with a small pistol primer. It's like shooting a .22.
gm iprod
NRA AP loads will also work. My daughter shoots a 125gr Zero with 4.0gr of Titegroup. Very little recoil, but for SC I up the load to 4.5gr TG over a 115gr and it cysles slick and soft. OAL is 1.2" with a JHP. 38Super, Federal Small Pistol Primer. trodrig
I'm shooting 5.0 of N320 with a 115 MG JHP at 1.240" OAL. With this load I can use the exact same spring setup in my STI Trubore that I use for major loads (9# standard recoil spring).
